Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment — Kigoma Region

AfroTech Horizons conducted a comprehensive Multi-Sectoral Needs Assessment across 14 districts in the Kigoma region on behalf of the Norwegian Refugee Council. The assessment covered refugee-hosting communities and examined humanitarian needs across shelter, food security, WASH, health, education, and livelihoods sectors. AfroTech deployed trained enumerators across all target districts, managing data collection through both quantitative household surveys and qualitative focus group discussions. The final report provided NRC with actionable, evidence-based recommendations that directly informed programme design and resource allocation decisions for the 2025 programming cycle.
